Chuck Marratt's Profile

Chuck is Vice President, Information Technology with MTM Luxury Lodging. He started his hotel career in 1981 with Westin. He has held the positions of Restaurant Manager, Executive Steward, Night Club Manager, Room Service Manager and F&B Cost Analyst with the Westin Oaks Hotel in Houston, the Westin Canal Place in New Orleans and the Westin Hotel in Seattle. After a brief stint at Hyatt he joined MTM Luxury Lodging at the Woodmark Hotel in 1992 as Food & Beverage Manager.

Chuck became Director of Information Technology for MTM Luxury Lodging in 1999 and has since become known as a hotel industry technology expert and most recently led the implementation of state of the art fully converged IP network applications at Hotel 1000 in Seattle, the Liberty Hotel in Boston and Bardessono in Napa Valley. Additionally, Chuck has successfully implemented the MTM IT strategy built around common; enterprise based sales and catering systems as well as a common enterprise property management system within the MTM properties. Chuck plays a key role in the planning and design of state of the art IT systems for all new MTM hotel projects. In April 2009 Chuck was appointed Vice President, Information Technology for MTM Luxury Lodging.

Chuck is a graduate of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. He is also a member of the HTNG Architecture Work Group, the 2009 HITEC Advisory Council and the Hospitality Technology Editorial Advisory Board.

Marratt lives with his wife of +20 years, Jodi, and their son, Bryce. His passions (aside from technology) are his family and German shepherd, Bella.
